Basically, we wanted a way to store a lot of topics/posts. We were able to increase the default forum topic maximum from 50, to 500. That's a 10 times increase with hopefully a minimal performance hit. We will be closely monitoring the systems for the new week to make even 200 posts, so you could have a forum that holds over 100,000 postings. We think this is enough (for at least now).
This version also disallows SCRIPTS in message bodies. We will allow this back in once we make sure performance stays fast.
Remember that each topic can hold up to 100 or sure all security concerns are addressed.
