The Barbary Lion

It was raining...hard. He plodded along the mud, his paws being soaked in the wet dirt, thick like blood. His mane that grew from around his face, his neck, and all the way down through his belly. It dripped of cold rain and each strand was crimped and matted. He lifted his head and blinked in protection of his soft amber eyes. He licked one side of his muzzle and lazyily plopped in the mud, laid his head on his paw and attempted to rest despite the butchering weather. <i></i>
