First off I want to say... I love this show! Does anyone else like it? At first, I wasn't too interested to watch it when I first heard about it. But I remember turning on UPN about the year 1995, and it was on and I started to watch it. And I got hooked. I told my sister to watch it and she liked it too. The show is good and I'm sad it ended in 1996. (But there were new episodes after that called the Goliath Cronicles, but it wasn't very good, and only lasted 13 episodes!) I miss this show, and I only have a few on tape. I know it's on Toon Disney, but I don't have Toon Disney. Does anyone here like Gargoyles? Or watched it? What do you guys think? (Oh and my favorite Gargoyle is Brooklyn. ^_^)

I love Gargoyles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Definately Disney's best TV series.I started watching it occasionally in '95,and became interested in it during summer '97(until USA Network took it off ).Oddly,I don't really have a fave character,I like 'em all!!!!!!(Goliath and Elisa make a cute couple, though). We've recently got Toon Disney on our cable, but I keep missing Gargoyles(oh well,at least I know it's there...).I also have a few episode tapes I bought when the show wasn't on the air. I believe that, when you die,you get to come back as whatever you want.I'll be a butterfly........because nobody EVER suspects "the butterfly"!!!!!!!!- Bart Simpson

I like the show, but I am rather disappointed that they have never figured a way to end the curse of being turned to stone by daylight...but if that curse was undone...the human population would fear them and start a war.

It's not a curse, Gargoyles naturally turn to store during the day. It heals them, and the sun gives then energy. I wouldn't call that a curse. But there was one episode when Goliath, Angela, Bronx, and Elisa were in the jungle and they met some Gargoyles that didn't turn to stone during the day because they wore some kind of stone around their neck that prevented them from turning to stone. But if they took it off during the day, they would turn to stone. Great pics Simbatw! I should show some of mine. Edited by: Young Lioness at: 6/12/01 11:12:10 pm

I beleive the sun would still energize them if they did not turn to stone.Ah, those gargoyles wore a scared amulet that protected them from their "attribute."

Also, later on Demona is cursed in a different way....Spoiler Alert!!!!!!!!She's cursed by Puck to become a human woman(Dominique Destine) during the day, instead of turning to stone. I believe that, when you die,you get to come back as whatever you want.I'll be a butterfly........because nobody EVER suspects "the butterfly"!!!!!!!!- Bart Simpson

All of a sudden I'm starting to feel a bit lonely! What is the Gargoyles series all about?

Hey, I LOVE that show! It's not a basic Disney cartoon, meaning that it's not some kid program with singing and dancing (blech!). It's a more mature show about love and finding a place as an outcast in a strange world. It's on every day at 10:30 PM and 1:30 AM, and I always set my VCR to record it if I'm at work or sleeping, so I never miss an episode!

I love Gargoyles as well! Brooklyn and Hudson are tied to be my fave characters. But, it's too bad that Gargoyles was cancelled(or canned) before they got around to a season four. I am Busara, the wisest creature of all the worlds. ~Busara

The episode Deadly Force looks really interesting! I've begun to download the episode, but since it's such a big file I'm spreading the downloading over several days.

My mom likes that show! I've watched it a few times myself, and it was pretty interesting. That Deadly Force episode sounds interesting as well. Too bad I can't download it (I wouldn't dare try to download anything that size to my crapola computer).
