Well, looking Tarzan and Dinosurs I noticed that Disney is trying to do movies without songs: what do you think about a TLK3 without singing lions?Great! It'll be a boring movie...Nice, the audio of my TV doesn't work!Show results

They must sing! If I don't want any singing, I'll watch a horror. Disney movies must have songs that get easily attached to the mind and you can't get out for days. Yes, I still have Hakuna Matata on my mind. Potevu (It means no worries for the rest of your days....) "There are old lions and there are cocky lions. But I have never met a old, cocky lion"Potevu's dad's words of wisdom.

Yep! I agree with Mtani08 (who agreed with me and so on and so on) The best music ever made are the soundtracks to movies. I have TLK CD (Original) Armageddon CD (Gift from Girlfriend Bianca) Full Metal Jacket (Gift from Lee..) and Grease. So basically I like sound tracks. My favourite is..The Lion KING! And the first song on the Full Metal jacket CD is cool......Potevu (Can never just keep his mind on ONE subject) "There are old lions and there are cocky lions. But I have never met a old, cocky lion"Potevu's dad's words of wisdom.

I agree! (how long can we keep doing this 'I agree' thing??) Soundtrancks are the beast! My best friend has the soundtrack to Armageddon (I got the movie) it's pretty good, but no soundtrack can beat TLK! Oh, don't remind me about Grease! When i was in 6'th grade we had to make a dance and show it to the whole school! We choosed 'Grease Lightning'..

Music is the art of sound and inspires movies! You'd be surprised just how boring a movie can be without music.Listen to the TLK soundtrack. That msuic is 80% of the feel of the movie.

Have you ever watched a REALLY scary movie with the sound off? It is no where near as scary! In fact it isn't at all scary. The music tends to make the whole atmosphere in most films. ---------------------------------I love TLK you should too!---------------------------------

Let's not forget the sound effects. That also has to do with the audio feel of the movie.Mute your TV when you watch the movie. It just sucks. But be thankful that you can actually hear, for some deaf people in this world are forced to watch a movie with no sound.

you did that? Poor you...but you know. Showbiz is about acting like idiots. Like lovesick puppies. Like macho guys who wet their pants. Stupid! And you get payed for it! "There are old lions and there are cocky lions. But I have never met a old, cocky lion"Potevu's dad's words of wisdom.

Well.. now Grease seems ok.. because there we only danced... now my class are going to make a musical (?) telling the story (music, fasion and so on..) and I and three other have to SING Abba's 'Mamma Mia'.. in front of my school, and probably others too! i can'e even sing... poor me! *lol*

Remember..take a deep
eath and...run for your life! i have never been forced to sing. Not with my voice. The most embarresing thing I have ever done in public was dancing. Waltz, actually. Seven times before I got it right. Now THAT'S torture. "There are old lions and there are cocky lions. But I have never met a old, cocky lion"Potevu's dad's words of wisdom.

It depends how it's played out. Personally, I like
oadway-esque musical animations and TLK is a very good example of fine score enchancement. However, as long as the songs are well written and placed. Frankly, I think SP would have been far better without the Upendi sequence. ;) In fact, I really don't like any of the SP soundtrack compared to TLK's, it just didn't fit in somehow.Trying to pass a deep storyline unto your audience is a job made much more difficult when you introduce musical numbers into the scheme. Lower the budget, less money they can offer to artists thusly they have no motive to sell their very best creations. I'm afraid TLK 3 may not me an exception to that. Although I have heard rumours of Lebo M being included in the project.... Botton line, keep the music with the lions, just....not so cheesey this time. ;)
