oh.... im going in school one week and there is realy great and funny.
but i have one problem i dont have any time for anything, must go on training, some little on internet, and so i dont have so much time, to go on outside with my friends.
my cousin is living in sweden and she is in school whool day. there isnt so good in school like here in bosnia. im at school 6 hours.

School in America is a joke. Students just don't even try here. They think it's a free-for-all. Whilst everyone else in Europe is getting an education and actually learning more than one language, people in America are throwing parties and getting drunk at the age of 15 (which is illegal.) And the population of bullies in American schools are increasing. They'll even fight back at the teachers and liaisons and not care about their fate (which will be prison.) Even I did poorly in school (but at least I tried... had to avoid bullies). But the schools here didn't express the importance of education, rather, it was "you have to do it." Why? "Because I told you to do so." That's not a reason!
A reason is "if you don't have a proper education, you will not be able to sustain yourself as an individual later in life. You'll end up living on the streets begging." That's a reason.
yeah i know that all, because one familie lives there in New York and so they taled me all about kidnaping, about alcohol about kokain and that all. its unbelive.
i wouldnt say that all schools out of the US are great either. it would depend on where you go, really.
im way beyond school - now in full time work, but the school i went to is now the worse in the borough (t was mediocre when i went there - in my area most kids go to private schools in different boroughs meaning all the bad kinds come to our boroughs schools), which bodes well, really doesnt it?
but saying that, i thought my time there was alright, the friends i hang out with now are the ones i made at school when i was 11 (so ive known most of them well over 10 years). the rest of the school population can go rot in hell for all i care.
i wouldnt say school years are the best of your life! but they got me where i am today.
my schools like, really rubish and kinda bad. everyone calls me emo and goth and stuffs just coz I wear black and loadza eye-liner. they give us like awfull planners wich are ugly and were not alowed to decorate them wich is really anoying coz I got loads of my chemicle romance and AFI cuttings from my mags to stick on them. oh yeah, the bins have the school logo on and it reminds me of harry potter for some strange reason
Ever wonder why emo and goth, or violent gangs and bully groups exist? Why do any of these things start in school to make school so terrible? Makes me think that someone in the schools aren't doing their jobs.
School should be an exciting place to go to.

I don't have to say much about schools for I'm studying right now. But I want to say something about bullying.
The problem with bullying is that many teachers are not properly prepared for these kind of situations. In case the teacher reacts to the bullying the bully will go on secretly behind the teacher's back and blame his victim for the trouble he had with the teacher. A kind of pay-back situation.
In case the teachers does not react, everything will remain the same. So what could be an acceptable solution? Just tell the bully off? Then again you would need evidence. And these evidences can only be seen when the bully acts in a physical way, I mean when he directly shows agressiveness towards his victim for example by beating him or her up. Many times the bully acts with words and this is very hard to prove for they always say "Oh it was just fun...". Even the victims don't dare to tell somebody for they fear further cruelity. It really is a vicious circle somehow and it's extremly sad, that it happens in school most of the time.

its because people will group together to feel safe. safety in numbers. i think the main reason i didnt get bullied at all at school, even though i was thought to be one of the cleverist people there was that i hade a large group of similar friends whom i could integrate with, and had no need to mix with the like of whom would lash out for being different..Originally posted by The Sonic God
